The 17th Annual Illinois State Perfusion Society Meeting and Clinical Perfusion Workshop

will be held October 19-21, 2012 at Hamburger University on McDonald’s Campus in Oak Brook, IL.

The Clinical Perfusion Workshop is being held all day 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday October 19,2012 and will be taught by Gary Grist, RN, CCP. This workshop/seminar is for perfusionists, ECMO specialists, and critical care specialists who want a better understanding of clinical perfusion theory at the microvascular level in critical cardiopulmonary and extracorporeal support patients.

This six hour presentation will examine advanced concepts in perfusion theory. Those attending the workshop will receive 7.2 Category I CEUs.

There will be an added cost of $75 for the workshop in addition to regular meeting. Free workshop enrollment to all students currently enrolled in a school of Cardiovascular Perfusion as well as Perfusion program directors of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Perfusion

The ISPS  meeting will begin on Friday October 19th at 6pm with a cocktail reception and educational meeting. We will have an all day Saturday session and half day Sunday session.

We anticipate that the meeting will be worth between 17 and 19 Category I CEUs. If you are interested in presenting at the meeting please email your idea for presentation to [email protected].
