1st Jilan Heart Academy Summer Workshop
A leadoff in Cardiovascular medicine transpired last April 20-22, 2013, which was participated by a large number of Chinese medical practitioners all throughout Jilin Province. Medical breakthrough specifically in surgical and interventional cardiac approach were conducted by famous Cardiothoracic surgeons and interventionist from Germany, Austria, Munich and Chicago, USA.
After the tremendous success of the said 1st Jilin Heart Academy Spring Workshop, Jilin Heart Hospital of Changchun City, China is spearheading another 1st Jilin Heart Academy SUMMER Workshop come this June 8, 2013. Again, international specialists from Switzerland, London, Cape Town , Munich and USA were invited to share their wide scope of experiences in Cardiovascular advancement.
This is an invitation to foreign medical participants especially to China’s neighboring countries who are interested in this premier of medical horizon as Jilin Heart Hospital takes off cardiac medical advancement in Northeast China.

Jilin Heart Hospital, a leading world class cardiac hospital in Jilin province, China, is the first hospital with a cardiac specialty to open in the province and the first hospital in China to rely on an evidence-based medical approach.
The city of Changchun is the capital city of the province of Jilin. Of the 27 million people who live in that province, 27,000 of those with heart disease need open heart surgery and 100,000 more need interventional surgery. In 2003, only 1,200 people received the interventional surgery they desperately needed, which means 90% of those people did not get it.
