So I am on my clinical rotation and my clinical coordinator mentioned that I should look into the new heparin that is being used. They are experienced a possible lower concentration from the "older or prior" heparin that they have used. According to him, this new heparin is nation and possibly internationally used. SO, my question is if anyone else has any input on the new heparin, why the change and where I can find more info about it. Thanks

Sooooo.... I eventually researched the topic for my TEAM SUNY presentation, which was so nerve-racking but such a great experience to endure. The information I did find was some what retrospective but informative to me and some at the meeting. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Take care.
