We are currently trying to decide whether to include a prebypass filter in our circuits, and the question whether it is needed and which one to use.  If you do use one, please comment as to which one you use, and how you manage it for peds with blood in the prime.

Thanks.

We always use a pre-bypass filter, 0.2 micron, placed in venous line.  After filtering, and before drugs/blood added to circuit, it is removed and replaced with venous sat cell.
