We are evaluating HLMs, are there any Stockert S5 users out there? What do you think of the machine? How does it compare to the s3? Any feedback is appreciated.

We are currently using the S5 at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix. We are still in the the trial phase, but will likely be purchasing them soon. We are very happy with the S5. we are also using S5 but i never use it yet as i always prefer s3 more. i am quite ready to use it but sometimes, luck is not on my side as whenever i come to work, other colleague is already taken it. we have 7HLM; 3 s3, 2 CAPS, 1 Sarns, and 1 S5. we are going to have another 3 OR soon; so total is 8 OR. i dont know wht type of HLM the companywill purchase. i really hope it is s3.

We have had the s5 for some time. Really like it. Love the touchscreen. Very intuitive. On the fly changes. Quick on and running in emergency (s3 takes long time to get going). Can rename and reassign pumps, safety devices, etc. Like how small it is. Very configurable. Run teeny tinys in morning and adults as second case no problem. We use remote head. love it. I did not care for system 1. Too many annoyances and irrgularities. Loved the old SARNS 9000 though. |

The S5 is a very nicely polished S3 but lags well behind the HL30.
